The Crough Center acted as a great catalyst for CUA LEED Lab. There was great enthusiasm amongst the students to because they feel a sense of "ownership" towards the building, and want to improve its sustainable efficiency and maintenance.

In CUA LEED Lab we use the university campus, where we live, work and study, as a living laboratory. We have accessed our current environments and helped to make important decisions about how to adapt and improve the campus’ efficiency and documentation of sustainability efforts.

The Story of creating a pilot academic course for implementation of LEED EB:O+M at Universities continue with LEED Project registration for Opus Hall dormitory, certified as LEED New Construction in 2010.
